After a nice long lunch and an equally nice long nap, we did our last dive of the day as a twilight dive. The first part of the dive when night had still not yet fallen was a little boring, swimming around the reef looking at all the cracks and crevices.
When it was proper dark, the reef was a lot more interesting. I saw quite a few parrot fish asleep in the coral, absolutely LOADS of little banded shrimps and other little cleaner shrimps (easily spotted when the torch light reflects in their eyes), a baby cuttlefish, a few blue spotted rays and a big ugly white sea hare.
The crew had hung a strobe on the shot line so it was easy to find our way back to the boat. A nice day of easy dives. Probably a good way to ease our way into the diving before seeing oceanic white tips!
